In a casting coup, the makers of Allu Sirish’s next have roped in glam doll Rukshar Dhillon. Rukshar, who recently sizzled opposite Nani in Krishnarjuna Yuddham, would be seen as Sirish’s romantic interest in his upcoming film, which will be the Telugu remake of successful Malayalam film ABCD (American Born Confused Desi).
Originally played by Dulquer Salmaan, Sirish is reprising Dulquer in the Telugu remake. Although Krishnarjuna Yuddham didn’t fare well at the BO, Rukshar did a decent job and scored brownie points. Looks like, this has helped Rukshar bag Sirish’s film. Buzz has it that Sirish is impressed with Rukshar’s acting prowess in KAY and has recommended her for the role.
Yash Rangineni, the co-producer of Pelli Choopulu, is producing the film along with Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. Sanjeev Reddy is making his directorial debut with the film. Well-known Kannada music director Judah Sandhy is going to compose the music for the film.
It’s learnt that the script has been tweaked to suit the nativity and sensibility of Telugu audiences.
