Another 9 Cr Needed For Breakeven!

Rajasekhar’s Garuda Vega might have garnered decent reviews and good word-of-mouth. But it hasn’t translated into the Box Office revenue.

The film has collected a meagre Rs 5 Crore share so far while it has to collect at least Rs 11 Crore share overall in the domestic market for the break-even. It means, the film needs another 6 Crore share to enter into safe bracket. So, the film has to get a gross of Rs 9 Crore.

Although the movie clocked in good numbers in the weekend, it has drastically fallen from Monday. Poor promotions are also to be blamed.

On other hand, the film is facing competition with many other releases. From this week, Adhirindi is hitting the cinemas. Apart from this, two other straight films Care of Surya and Okkadi Migiladu are also releasing. So, it needs to be seen where Garuda Vega would stop at its full run.

However, it is a total different scenario in the overseas as the film has already earned profits to its distributors there given that it was sold for less price.
