#APBandh: Rangasthalam Song Creates A Rage

On one side the state government lost crores of income including the loss of Rs 12 crores to APSRTC alone with the Andhra Pradesh Bandh call given by various parties demanding the “Special Status”. On the other side, the protestors seem to be enjoying the forced shut down of the state with Rangasthalam songs being their pick.

The song “Aa gattuna vuntava naganna” is an instant hit for people who have seen the film “Rangasthalam”. It comes in a situation where Ram Charan starts campaigning for his brother inside the film. And now, the same song is being used by Left parties’ workers to demonstrate their dancing skills during the protests.

One wonders what made them dance for the song, but their interesting folk moves for the song caught the eye of media. However, the protestors should have come up with some songs that highlight the plight of Andhra Pradesh and demanding the central government to do the needful. But a dance for Rangasthalam song sounded like a political campaign rather than a protest for the cause.
