These are the days where big movies are ending up with minor losses due to overall cost failure and selling projects at mammoth prices. But some films often break the mould and shower profits on distributors even though they are sold at a high price.
After the likes of Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Bharat Anu Nenu, there comes another winner now, in the form of Jr NTR’s Aravinda Sametha. Already the film amassed nearly 85+ crores share and after this Sunday this might touch the much needed 91 crores mark as well. And that makes the film touching the safe shores with almost all the distributors recovering their investment. In the USA, Aravinda Sametha surpassed Nannaku Prematho full run collection to become NTR’s highest grosser. Aravinda Sametha collected $2,051,183 as per Friday night.
So whatever the film collects in the next few weeks until cinema lovers find another blockbuster movie is going to be the profit for distributors. Also, NTR’s consistent box office performance with the Janata Garage, Jai Lava Kusa and then with Aravinda Sametha is quite impressive we have to say.
