On Saturday, Bharat Ane Nenu has grossed over USD 600K until 11PM EST and thus surpassed the USD 2 million milestone. BAN has taken over Nannaku Prematho, Atharintiki Dharedhi and Fidaa to position itself at the 7th spot among the all-time highest grossing Telugu movies in the US list.
Bharat Ane Nenu’s next targets will be the records set by Khaidi No. 150, A..Aa and Srimanthudu, which will be broken by Sunday night. At this pace, Bharat Ane Nenu will surely overtake Rangasthalam in the coming weeks and will then set its eyes on the USD 5M magical milestone.
Mahesh Babu is the only Telugu star after Prabhas (Baahubali 1 & 2) to score two USD 2M movies, his first being Srimanthudu. Will Mahesh also be the second Tollywood hero to break into the USD 5M club after Prabhas?
