Bengal Tiger Movie Review

Story:

Raviteja is seen as Akash Narayan, an educated but careless guy. He is rejected by a girl (Aksha) as she wants to marry some one who is famous. In a bid to become famous, Akash joins as an assistant to a minister (Sayaji Shinde). One day, he saves the home minister’s daughter, Shradda (Raashi Khanna) from goons and she falls for him instantly.

When the HM announces the alliance in Shradda’s Birthday party, Akash shocks by revealing a one side love affair with CM’s daughter, Meera (Tamannah). What happens next in the story and the motive behind Akash Narayan forms the rest of the film.

Performances:

Raviteja plays one more happy-go-lucky character yet again in Bengal Tiger. Needless to say, he had taken it to next level with his energy and superb comedy timing. Both the heroines – Tamannah and Rashi Khanna do not have much substance in their roles but they are good in whatever they are offered.

But the glamour quotient is explored to the maximum. Boman Irani and Rao Ramesh are good as always. 30 years industry fame Prudhvi just rocked the show. His track is the major asset for the film. Posani, Sayaji Shinde and others are sufficient.

Technical Performances:

Sampath Nandi rightly exploited all the strengths of Raviteja and made best use of them. The story is a wafer thin one but is put to good use with racy screenplay and good comedy every now and then. He also did justice to the writer by penning some good dialogues. There are many references to Pawan Kalyan in the film which will enthrall Mega fans.

Bheems Ceciroleo came up with lack lustre audio but Sampath compensated with his aesthetic picturization. It is a glam feast by the heroines in couple of songs. Chinna handled the back ground score and it is good. Soundarrajan’s cinematography is superb while Gautam Raju’s editing is patchy. Production Values are good.

Plus Points:

  • Ravi Teja
  • 30 years Prudhvi
  • Cinematography by Soundararajan
  • Glamorous Heroines

Minus Points:

Predictable Second Half

Final Say:

The first half of the film is entertaining with good interval twist. But the movie dips slightly in the second half where the entertainment levels are also on a slower side. But still it is manageable. Bengal Tiger is an enjoyable film for Raviteja fans and Mass audience. Try it only to get entertained from start to end nothing more.
