On this day, last year, the path-breaking Arjun Reddy released and the rest is history. This blockbuster love story not only set a new trend in Tollywood, but it also turned its lead pair Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey and also the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga into overnight stars.
Reminiscing about the film that changed his life forever, Vijay Deverakonda took to his social media pages and posted a ‘bloody’ (quite literally) picture of Arjun Reddy. The photograph has Vijay as Arjun Reddy looking intense as his blood-smeared hand takes a puff. Vijay said that this was the picture they first took, perhaps during a workshop.
Arjun Reddy has a cult following among movie buffs and even many celebrities from all the film industries are huge fans of the movie. While Vijay is touted as the next big thing in Tollywood, Sandeep Vanga is all set to direct Shahid Kapoor in Arjun Reddy’s remake. All this is possible only because of the phenomenon called Arjun Reddy.
