BO Report: Mahesh just missed a Golden Oppurtunity

Aagadu-Start647x450

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu took off to a smashing start at the box office on the Day 1 but was pulled back immediately. The premiere shows in Overseas are off to a flying start with almost all the states of USA screening multiple shows and there is no exaggeration to say their is an unprecedented demand for the tickets. The movie had already crossed the US Premiere record set by Attarintiki Daredi

Back home, the makers have almost screened the film in almost every center which boosts to have a size-able population. Even remote areas like Andaman & Nicobar Islands do have the movie screening. The movie screenings of benefit shows have started across the state from the midnight of Thursday and early morning of Fridays. The ticket prices have gone up to as much as 2000 per ticket.

However as the talk emerged from the Benefit shows, the occupancies dropped in areas like Guntur, Krishna and Ceeded. Most of the single screen theaters have blocked the tickets for black ticketing and this will be a problem with the talk of the film not so good. Most Multiplexes are sold out for the weekend and should rake a moolah in the first three days. The movie was screened in more than 1450 theaters across the World. Experts have predicted a new record on the release day surpassing Attarintiki Daredi’s earlier record but even Top 2 looks difficult right now.
