That helps them score that 100 crores nett on the first weekend pretty easily. But now, Ranbir Kapoor is going to join that list without any support from a festival or a long weekend.
Other day, Ranbir’s latest movie “Sanju” which happens to be the biopic of Sanjay Dutt has hit cinemas quite normally. With Raj Kumar Hirani at the helm, everyone knows that the film won’t go wrong. And the film met with all such expectations as the mesmeric screenplay did magic from First Day First Show itself. It collected a phenomenal 34.75 crores from India alone on Friday.
That happens to be the Biggest Opener of 2018 also, as the Raj Kumar Hirani directorial outshined the collections of other big films like Race 3 (29.17 cr), Baaghi 2 (25+ cr), Padmaavat (19 Cr) on the first day. The film also happens to be the best opener for Ranbir Kapoor also as his previous best is at 19-20 crores for films like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Besharam.
Trade experts have opined that the film will collect more than 100 crores in the first weekend along by looking at the strong mouth talk. Also, online ticket booking got almost fulls until Monday for all the shows. Needless to say, Raju did magic and Sanju is rocking!!
