Even after extensive pre-production work, which focused primarily on the script, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious historical film, “Sye Raa” is still facing script-related issues. And, causing frequent postponements of shooting.
It has been more than two months since the Sye Raa team wrapped the first schedule, and doubts are still hovering over the second schedule. It is heard that Megastar is unhappy with the changes made to the script and the second schedule may not take place even on March 5, as reports suggest.
Reportedly, after the first schedule was over, Chiru expressed his displeasure with the canned portions, and Paruchuri brothers were asked to rewrite the script. Hence, the second schedule, which was planned after Sankranthi, had to be deferred. The mending work continued in February too, and just recently reports started circulating that the 2nd schedule might finally commence on March 5.
However, it is now heard that Chiru isn’t pleased with the freshly developed version and hence the shooting may get postponed once again. Since the film is being made on a whopping budget and also considering that audiences aren’t ready to consume whatever is in the offing, Chiru is reportedly taking extreme care in every aspect.
He has reportedly issues an ultimatum to the Sye Raa team that he wouldn’t appear on sets until he finds the script satisfactory. Meanwhile, the production house maintains stoic silence.
