Rarely one comes across a filmmaker directing his own daughter, that too in a love story. Romantic scenes are bound to be galore in love stories and filming them obviously become extremely difficult for both. However, action king Arjun and his daughter Aishwarya took up this challenge.
Arjun is a well-known face to Telugu audiences. Despite being a Tamil actor, he has done handful of Telugu films and plenty of his films were dubbed into Telugu. However, not many Telugu audiences know that Arjun has a beautiful daughter named Aishwarya, who has already made her debut in kollywood.
Aishwarya hoped that her career would fly after she acted with Vishal in ‘Pattathu Yaanai’ but the failure of the movie dented her prospects. Then, Arjun took up the onus of reviving his daughter’s career on his own shoulders and directed her second film, a love story titled ‘Kadhalin Pon Veedhiyil’.
Aishwarya has confessed that at first, she found it tough to shoot romantic portions in the presence of her father. ‘Later, dad suggested me to consider him as only the director of her film and that’s how we pulled off the love scenes aesthetically,’ added Aishwarya, who romanced Kannada actor Chetan Kumar.
Interim, Arjun is making his comeback to Telugu cinema by playing villain role in Nithiin’s new film.
