“Show your art and confidently grab offers, why do you want to sell yourself? Don’t blame the film industry, it is our mother like a place” asked senior choreographer guru Saroj Khan. Apparently, her comments are now stoking new debates in Bollywood as well as in Tollywood.
“It’s on top of the girl who wanted to do it or not. Casting couch is there in all places including government. But the film industry is the place that gives food even after any such thing happens, unlike other places where they just rape and leave” she added further. The three-time National Award winning choreographer surely raised fumes with her comments, while some are agreeing with what she said.
While some heroines like Ileana and Richa Chaddha are saying that career in Bollywood will get ended if they talk about casting couch, some heroines like Rakul are of the feeling that there is no such thing called casting couch in any film industry they have been. On a whole, this looks like people have different opinions on this happening and one can’t generalize it.
Cut to Sri Reddy thing, for now, neither media nor she is holding any special talks on this from hour to hour and at the same time, no cases are registered so far in this issue. We have to see how Tollywood will respond to Saroj Khan’s comments.
