‘Don’t Watch My Movie, If It Fails’

Naga Shourya who is quite upbeat about his new flick ‘Narthanasala’, too made an interesting comment.

– Naga Shourya asked his fans not to watch if the movie failed to entertain them.

Filmakers and heroes making overboard statements about the prospects of their upcoming movies during promotional events, is not new to Tollywood. If hero Vijay Devarakonda is the one who made the bold statement before release of cult movie Arjun Reddy, some recent flock of directors too followed the rythm. Devarakonda had said that he would give away all his bank balance if the movie turned out to be a flop.

Now, Naga Shourya who is quite upbeat about his new flick ‘Narthanasala’, too made an interesting comment. As part of the promotion meet of the movie, Naga Shourya asked his fans not to watch if the movie failed to entertain them. He further asked fans to put a word to others about the movie and encourage them to watch only if the movie is good.

It is quite common for directors or producers to make praise their movies during promotion meetings. Recently, ‘RX100’ movie director too made such comments.Producer Dil Raju too had admitted that ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ would be his blockbuster movie after ‘Bommarillu’. However, the Nithin-starrer movie has failed to engage the audience.
