Ace composer Devi Sri Prasad not just excites with his songs, but the background score he provides for some big-ticket entertainers is always compelling and kickass. In this summer, he’s going to enchant us with movies like Rangasthalam and Bharat Anu Nenu.
Other day, we hear that Devi has stunned Sukumar and co with his near-finished work on Rangasthalam. Though Sukku knows the peaks of DSP, he’s excitedly waiting to see what kinds of output will come as the film needs that period touch as the story is set in the 80s backdrop. But the genius composer once again proved why he’s a magician.
Especially we hear that the re-recording done for intro parts of Charan, and the score given for Charan and Samantha’s romantic track is pretty awesome, they say. Also for a crucial scene coming before the pre-climax which involves Charan, Anasuya and Jagapathi Babu, we hear that music of DSP lifted the whole emotions to 200% high.
In most of Sukumar’s films, if logics are intelligent and emotions are top notch, then it is Devi’s music that takes them to a new level. We hear that Sukumar felt this is best work of the composer after Arya and 1-Nenokkadine, the director’s all-time favourite works of Devi Sri Prasad.
