If speculations are anything to go by, the former CBI joint director and the present additional DGP of Maharashtra VV Lakshminarayana, who has offered voluntary resignation for his job, is likely to join politics. Buzz doing the rounds indicate that Lakshmi Narayana could join into Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. Talk is that he has quit to join Janasena and is said to be in touch with Pawan who is working for an alternative force to TDP, YSRCP.
On the other hand, BJP’s senior leaders are also said to be in touch with Lakshmi Narayana who hails from Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, TDP’s leader Payyavula Kesav said that anyone who comes into politics with service mode are welcome. He said that if Lakshmi Narayana comes into TDP it would be better and nice. Payyavula said that whether JD starts his own political party or if he joins any other party in opposition to the ruling would also in turn help TDP.
“When Jayaprakash Narayan had started his political party, it had helped then ruling party Congress. We were in Opposition then. So, likewise, if Lakshmi Narayana garu join any party in the Opposition will eventually help TDP only,” said Payyavula Kesav.
Except YSR Congress Party, all other political parties have welcomed Lakshmi Narayana into politics. It can be noted that he had played pivotal role in YS Jagan’s Disproportionate Assets Case.
