Famous Educationalist, TDP senior leader and Visakhapatnam ex MP, GITAM University director MVVS Murthy died in a road accident in the USA.According to reports, the road accident happened while Murthy was going from California in a Dodge Van to visit a wild life safari at Anchorage in Alaska.
Hearing the news, TANA representatives rushed to the accident location. There were five members in the vehicle that met with the accident and four were reportedly dead.Famous Social Entrepreneur Kadiyala Venkata Ratnam (Gandhi) is reportedly in critical condition and Managing Trustee of Veluvolu Trust Veluvolu Basavapunnaiah, Veeramachineni Siva Prasad and VBR Chowdary were among the deceased in the accident.
According to Alaska State Troopers reports, the 2017 Dodge Van collided with a Ford F150 when tried to overtake a semi in a no passing zone at Mile 185 of the Parks Highway, south of Cantwell.A family of three in the Ford F150, driven by a 23 year old Fort Wainwright, with a 21-year-old woman Felicia Koskey in the passenger seat, and a 2-year-old boy in the vehicle were also severely injured and were moved to hospital.
MVVS Murthy had to address the GITAM Alumni meet in California on 6th October, arranged by Veluvolu Basavapunnaiah and Former faculty Professor Veeramachaneni Siva Prasad, who also died in the same fatal crash.Murthy’s grandson Sri Bharat is married to Balakrishna’s second daughter Tejeswini. With this, a pal of gloom descended on Nandamuri and Nara families. Recently, Nandamuri family has lost Hari Krishna in a fatal road accident near Nalgonda in Telangana.
