As expected, the Vijay Deverakonda mania has worked magic at the box offices worldwide on Geetha Govindam’s opening day. The film collected close to Rs 16 crores worldwide gross on day one. This is the highest ever worldwide opening day collections for any medium budget movie, surpassing Nani’s MCA and Sai Dharam Tej’s Winner etc.
Geetha Govindam has collected a share of over Rs 5.80 crore in both the Telugu speaking states, with an approximate gross of Rs 8.50 crores. In the US, where the film has grossed USD 398K from the premieres, the gross is totaled as Rs 4.24 crores, with a share of Rs 2.35 crores.
Geetha Govindam collected Rs 1.32 crore gross and a share of Rs 61 lakhs in Karnataka, where the film’s heroine Rashmika Mandanna enjoys a huge popularity. And in Rest of World, the film grossed Rs 2.21 crore with a share of Rs 96 lakhs. Worldwide, Geetha Govindam’s day one gross is close to Rs 16 crores with a share of Rs 9.71 crores.
