After Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat, Baaghi and Sonu Ke Tito Ki Sweety, Alia’s Raazi becomes the fourth film to cross 100 Crore nett. Besides the huge success of the film, Alia Bhatt has emerged as the new sensation in Bollywood.

The film’s plot revolves around an Indian spy marrying a Pakistani man during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 – the year of Bangladesh’s liberation. Alia Bhatt is seen as a young Kashmiri woman Sehmat who married into a Pakistani Army family. The film is lapped up by both critics and audiences alike, giving the well-deserved success to the film.

The spy thriller is being received well even in the third week and Bollywood is going gaga over Alia. The magnitude of Raazi’s success is expected to add to Alia’s career and likely to increase her market.
