Right now, something like that seems to be happening. A new movie is currently in the making in Hindi and it has been titled as ‘Heroine’. This has hot star Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Now, inside sources reveal the story is inspired strongly from the life of Manisha Koirala who stole hearts with her acts in ‘Bombay’ ‘Baba’ ‘Bharateeyudu’ ‘Oke Okkadu’ etc.
The story revolves around an actress who touches peaks of success and glory and in no time comes tumbling down due to her addiction for alcohol and the turbulent relationships. In a way, this is quite close to Manisha’s life story. However, director Madhur Bhandarkar has reportedly quashed this as a rumour and clarified that his story is an original and not inspired by anyone. Let us see how true that is.
