Flattered by her big expressive eyes, senior creative director Vamsi (‘Avnu Vaalliddaru Ishtapaddaaru’ fame) cast the bong girl in his ‘Saradaga Kasepu’. But the film didn’t help her because it didn’ score a hit at the box-office. Later the pretty girl was seen in a few passable films but no respite for her because nothing big came her way. Finally she even turned an item girl for Allu Sirish-Regina starrer ‘Kotha Janta’ and danced for megastar’s remixed song ‘Atu Amalapuram, Itu Peddapuram’. Even this song didn’t change her fortunes.
All of a sudden fortunes are smiling on Madhurima Banerjee and she has bagged a role in Puri Jagannath’s NTR starrer upcoming movie. Though Kajal Agarwal is playing the lead female role, reportedly Madhurima has got a pivotal role in the movie. The actress feels it is too early to reveal anything regarding Puri’s movie but confirms the same that she is roped in to play a crucial role in the film opposite NTR. This is going to be the first time for Madhurima to act with one of the top actors in Tollywood and to be directed by a star director like Puri.
