Jagan Asks Youth to Hold Protests

Even though KCR was the front face of the Telangana movement, it was the mass protests by the ‘youth’ that made a huge impact and eventually forced the Centre to grant Telangana. Such is the impact youth, especially students can create. Now, YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy seeks the support of AP youth in fighting for the Special Category Status (SCS) for the state.

Taking to Twitter today, Jagan said that students across the state along with his party cadres would hold relay hunger strikes at even village level. He called the students to hold protests on the educational institutions. Saying that SCS is synonymous to job opportunities for youth, Jagan said that it is the right of AP people.

The YCP chief added that his party MPs would resign the day the Parliament is adjourned indefinitely and would go on an indefinite hunger strike at AP Bhavan, New Delhi.
