YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems not interested in roping in his sister Sharmila in active politics this time.
Political circles are agog with a talk that Jagan refused Sharmila from entering bye election bound Nandyal Assembly Constituency and take part in the ongoing poll campaign. The farmer Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had played a key role in the party in 2014 election by conducting padayatra in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh also.
Jagan learnt to have told Sharmila to stay away from active politics in the 2019 elections as the YSR Congress leader did not to create another power centre in YSR Congress. Already Sharmila has created her own group in the party.
Anticipating trouble, Jagan did not invite Sharmila to participate in by poll campaign in Nandyal. Leaders says Sharmila will confine to house only. She will also be not given any responsibility in the future.
