Jai Lava Kusa is one different film where the lead hero himself plays three different roles. Generally, in most recent films like Vikram’s Inkokkadu and Surya’s 24, the lead actor played different roles but with different physical abilities as well. The scene is however different in Jr NTR’s film as he is playing three energetic roles only.
Basic discussing happening is that, at a time when heroes like Vikram and Surya are struggling to score a hit even when they showed a huge difference between the physical and expressive natures of all the characters they played on screen in one single film, how would Jr NTR succeed without showing much difference. Between the characters Jai, Lava and Kusa, there is only costume change and few differences owing to the look.
This is the time we have to talk about Jr NTR’s double action film Adhurs where there is only costume change for the two characters he played. However, the way he enacted those antics for the Chary character made the movie a laugh riot and made it click well at box office. In films like Inkokkadu and 24, most of the time we’re able to see Vikram and Surya in those characters than the characters itself. Also, their portrayal didn’t click while the character graph isn’t engaging.
Now the big thing we have to see, how far Jai character, the most impressive of the three in Jai Lava Kusa, will make a mark on audiences. If Jai kicks out Jr NTR from the screen like a Chary, there you go, NTR and Kalyan Ram will have a winner on hand. Also with 86+ crores ‘share’ to be recovered from the box office, they will score an industry hit if Jai is present all over and Jr NTR is absent. And that’s going to happen for sure, say insiders, exuding confidence.
