Hours after TDP’s decision to corner BJP in Parliament over AP’s rightful demands and Naidu’s plan to write letters to major national, regional political parties across nation to sought their support for AP, instant reaction has come from the BJP’s top brass.
None other than BJP’s national president Amit Shah has telephoned Chandrababu Naidu. Amit apparently invited Chandrababu to iron out the ‘differences’ and ‘settle’ the issues between them.
Amit Shah has offered ‘olive branch’ and evinced interest in meeting TDP leaders on March 5th. Chandrababu said to have told Amit Shah that a team of TDP leaders under the leadership of YS Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) would meet Amit Shah to discuss on the issues.
Chandrababu and TDP MPs are demanding for the Special Category Status, BJP is now in a total self-defense. With BJP not honoured any of its poll promises to AP and not fulfilled any of its commitments mentioned in AP Reorganization Act 2014, there is a growing hatred against BJP among the people of AP as well as Telangana.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders and MPs are not so hopeful about what BJP would agree to give to AP. However, TDP leaders want to play it very smart and want to take ‘as much as’ one could for the State before 2019 polls.
