Telugu actress Sri Reddy, over the last few days, has been making some serious allegations against Tamil cinema personalities.
In an attempt to fight against the casting couch culture, Sri Reddy has exposed the names of AR Murugadoss, Sundar C, Srikanth, Raghava Lawrence and Sundeep Kishan, and alleged that they took advantage of her.
Now, actor Karthi, treasurer of Nadigar Sangam, has opened up about the controversy.
“Nadigar Sangam will release an official statement regarding this. It is a baseless issue, and I, as an individual, cannot comment on it as there is no proof for the allegations made so far,” he said.
He further added, “Media should decide whether it is essential to blow up the issue or not. If Sri Reddy has proof, she should have gone to the police by now. Instead of doing that, she is accusing everyone. So, I don’t think it is okay for me to comment on the controversy right now.”
In her recent post, Sri Reddy has questioned actresses like Nayanthara, Trisha, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha to open up about the casting couch issues they have faced so far.
