KCR To Dissolve Assembly On Aug 25?

If the speculations doing rounds in a section of media circles are to be believed, Telangana state assembly is most likely to be dissolved on August 25.The youngest state of the country will go for early elections along with four other States of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram and Chhattisgarh in November end.According to party sources, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will disclose his plans to this effect during an emergency meeting of the cabinet called at his official residence Pragati Bhavan on Wednesday evening.

Sources said KCR will take the opinions of his cabinet colleagues on the dissolution of the assembly and early elections and formally take a decision.Though he might immediately announce the date of dissolution of the assembly at the meeting, sources close to the power centres say he might take the decision by this week-end, most probably on August 25, which is an auspicious day.KCR will also discuss the issues related to selection of candidates, fixing the date and place for the release of progress card of the four year governance of TRS and above all “current political situation” prevailing in the state and country.

The Telangana police department also put itself in the election mode. The police forces have already started gearing up for the elections by conducting a series of training programmes the men and women of police force at the Telangana Police Academy here.The department has already prepared a list of Circle Inspectors who have been working at the same place from the past three years.
