KCR To Dissolve Assembly on Sep 6?

If strong speculations are anything to go by, KCR and his cabinet ministers are all planning to dissolve the Telangana state Assembly on September 6. This is in order to facilitate the early elections. While the Election Commission has made it clear that it can’t conduct the early elections if Assembly is dissolved within 6 months from the date of general elections, after taking several expert opinions, KCR & Co said to have arrived to conclusion to dissolve the Assembly 8 months before the term ends i.e 2 months prior to the usual 6-month time so that EC is bound to conduct the early Assembly elections in the state.

So, KCR and party senior leaders have decided to dissolve the Assembly much before December i.e in September. It’s learnt that the Assembly session is expected to be held on Sep 5th, Sep 6th and likely to dissolve it on the last day i.e Sep 6th. A cabinet meeting would be held and the decision to dissolve the Legislative Assembly would be taken in the meeting.

And the next Assembly Session, by new government, should be held before June 8 that is when the first Assembly session was held by the previous/incumbent government.Several crucial files are being prepared by officials at rapid pace. And a Cabinet Meeting being held today (Tuesday) is likely to take several crucial decisions.
