With the hectic political developments are taking place in Telangana, Governor ESL Narasimhan cancelled his visit to Kurnool district to attend the marriage of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya in Wednesday morning.
Governor is scheduled to leave Kurnool one day before the marriage but he cancelled soon after KCR rang the phone in Raj Bhavan. KCR requested Narasimhan to stay in Hyderabad in the next two or three days as he wanted to pursue the political developments with him.
KCR rushed to Raj Bhavan in the evening and held one to one meeting with Governor for more than one hour. He brief the details of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers during his just concluded Delhi tour.
It is learnt that KCR explained Governor his decision to go in for early elections and sought the centre’s help for the smooth conduct of elections. As Governor could not go to Allagadda where the marriage function is organized, he decided to attend reception in Hyderabad on September one.
