Liking the transition in Tollywood: Lavanya Tripathi

Actress Lavanya Tripathi said the Telugu film industry is currently in a good phase and she is liking the transition witnessing it.Lavanya has two films in hand and both of them are completely different from each other. They are Nikhil’s ‘Mudra’ and Varun Tej’s ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH.’Speaking exclusively to GreatAndhra, Lavanya said, 2018 has been so far so good for me as she’s part of different genres.

Though not a fan of remakes, Lavanya said she liked the script of ‘Mudra’ as ample of changes were made to suit the taste of Telugu audience.“My role has equal importance with the protagonist and is very much connected. It’s a thriller, I’m doing it for the first time,” added Lavanya. Working with Nikhil is an absolute good experience, she quipped.When asked about her forthcoming ‘Antariksham’ Lavanya replied that it is great working with an amazing team who are determined to bring a space genre for the audience but she did not disclose her role or the details.

“Varun is obsessed with his work and it’s nice to be working with him for the second time,” stated the Dehradun beauty. Lavanya further said Telugu is her second home and at the same time, she is ready to explore the opportunities in different languages.
