After throwing challenges and counter-challenges and making allegations of irregularities and even demanding for the Facts Finding Committee against the Sivaji Raja group, finally, both the parties have come to truce.
Sivaji Raja and Naresh have shared the dais alongside the Tollywood bigshots Suresh Babu, Gemini Kiran, Tammareddy Bharadwaj and others. The whole team of MAA and the seniors of the industry ruled out any irregularities in the MAA Silver Jubilee event and gave a clean chit to Sivaji Raja, Srikanth, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and others.
Tammareddy stated that it is not uncommon to have differences in an organization, but he said both the groups going to media and publicizing the issue is not correct. The senior filmmaker said from now onwards only the newly appointed Collective Committee would communicate anything to media and any internal issues would be discussed with the Collective Committee which will sort out the issues.
Putting a full-stop to the MAA (Movie Artistes Association) controversy, Naresh said that let’s past be past and asked everyone to move on. He said the difference of opinions had come but he said everyone would like to forget the past and move forward.
He said he would work with Sivaji Raja together and make all the upcoming MAA events successful. Sivaji Raja said small issues had propped up but he said all the information, documents have been provided to the Collective Committee which has found no foul play.
However, many are opining that the MAA corruption scandal has been covered-up by the Tollywood veterans in a hushed manner. “Why did Naresh who accused Shivaji Raja and Srikanth of corruption with ‘facts’ compromise now? And why didn’t neither Shivaji Raja nor Srikanth demand action against Naresh for accusing them in the media now that all charges against them are proven to be false?,” are the doubts everyone’s expressing. Will anyone in the MAA care to explain?
