Girls who have succeeded to sizzle across India with their unlimited beauty and bold intelligence are tumbling in Tollywood. Recently, another Miss-India trying for chances in Telugu industry is having a tough time.
Popular pageant beauties like Aiswarya Rai, Sushmita Sen and Priyanka Chopra have never acted in direct Telugu films. Other girls like Namrata Shirodkar (Vamsi, Anji), Celina Jaitley (Suryam), Neha Dhupia (Villain), Tanusree Datta (Veerabhadra), Sayali Bhagat (Blade Babji), Gadde Sindura (Amaravathi) and recently Sarah Jane Dias (Panjaa) have failed miserably with Telugu audiences. Other than the fate of their films, these hot babes failed to woo Telugu audiences though they have satisfied judges in pageant competitions.
Right now, Miss India 2008, Parvathy Omanakuttan is testing her luck with Telugu audience through dubbed flick ‘David Billa’. Dubbing move might work, but she is aiming to get some straight projects in Telugu. Can she break the sentiment that Miss-India girls are just iron-legs in Telugu?
