‘Modi Means Corruption’

As expected, Gandhi Scion and Congress’ President Rahul Gandhi went all guns blazing against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Congress party’s 84th plenary in New Delhi today. Rahul started off his speech targeting the two Modis, Narendra Modi and Nirav Modi.

“The name Modi symbolises the collusion between India’s biggest businessmen and the Prime Minister. Modi gives Modi Rs 30,000 crores of your money and in turn, Modi gives Modi money for marketing Modi and fighting elections,” Rahul said, further adding “Modi is not fighting corruption. Modi is corruption”.

Talking more about the corruption in the Modi-led BJP rule and the Rafael deal, Rahul alleged that the Congress had paid only Rs 570 crore per aircraft, while Modi has paid Rs 1,670 crore per aircraft and bought only 36 aircrafts with the same price that Congress had negotiated for 126 aircrafts.

Mentioning the incidents of Gauri Lankesh and Kalburugi murders and the press meet of the Supreme Court justices, Rahul accused Modi’s BJP of creating fear among the countrymen. He went on to liken the BJP-RSS combine to the Kauravas. “Like the Kauravas, BJP and RSS are designed to fight for power. Like the Pandavas, the Congress is designed to fight for the truth,” Rahul quipped.
