Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth, who had been excited to watch the teaser of “Kaala” today, will have to wait for some more time as the teaser launch has been deferred due to the demise of Kanchi seer Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya.
Actor Dhanush, who bankrolled “Kaala”, announced that the teaser will be released on March 2, a day late than the earlier announced time, 11 AM on March 1.
“Due to the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, as a mark of respect Kaala teaser will be released on 2nd March. Apologies to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the teaser,” Dhanush posted on Twitter.
Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal (82), the 69th Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham passed away on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest. Rajini, who is a firm believer in religion and God, has immense respect for the now-deceased seer, and hence he advised Dhanush to defer the teaser release as a token of respect.
