Looks like the portrayal of a God character had created godliness in Akkineni Nagarjuna. The actor had decided to give the entire remuneration he received for the film Shirdi Sai to charity. The film received a good opening and the actor’s performance as Sai is being appreciated by one and all.
Amala Akkineni said that part of the money goes to Blue Cross where additional facilities will be created and for providing free surgeries to destitute animals. The rest of the money will go for educational and other welfare activities.
With Nagarjuna getting the nod from the audience for Shirdi Sai this week, Amala Akkineni will be seen on screen again next week in Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful.
