Very surprisingly today Akkineni Nagarjuna has organised a press meet to announce the completion and release date updates of his latest production venture “Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam”. The film has Naga Chaitanya, Rakul Preet and Jagapathi Babu in the leads, while Lavanya Tripathi also plays an important character. At the press meet, Nagarjuna shared some trivial information that gives goosebumps to all.
Directed by Kalyan Krishna of Soggade Chinni Nayana fame, there were rumours earlier that Nagarjuna ordered for re-shoots of the film and also he’s himself getting the editing done. Guess what, Nagarjuna has confirmed this today.
“Only after I got satisfaction at the editing table, I’ve given a go ahead to hold a press meet. I’ll release the film only after I like it and feel confident about the result. From the last couple of weeks, I’m in the editing room with director Kalyan Krishna and checked the film thoroughly. The film has come out well”, said Nagarjuna.
This is more like Megastar Chiranjeevi sitting at the editing table for most of Ram Charan’s films and making a best cut from a scrap looking film to make it work at box office. From Racha to Govindudu Andarivadele to Dhruva, Chiranjeevi has turned editor. There was buzz that he walked out from edit room of Bruce Lee and the result is known. Seems like even Nagarjuna is taking care of his son’s films now.
Talking more about the film, he added, “Chaitanya has done a good job. Director Kalyan Krishna is a good writer and he proved already by taking hit with the first film and also gave hit to me. Rakul is an energetic actress and fits the bill perfectly in Bramaramba character. Jagapathi Babu has done a great job as a dad without his villainy antics like in Legend movie. His salt and pepper looks are too good”.
