The latest reports suggest that ‘Officer’ has been made sans songs. The contribution of songs in Telugu films, especially in Nagarjuna’s films, is very significant. Making a film without songs is a daring decision, which Nag has reportedly taken on the behest of RGV. Featuring Nag as a ruthless police officer, the film is expected to make up the lack of songs with plenty of action.
The runtime of ‘Officer’ is 1 hour and 45 minutes, which makes the film Nag’s shortest till date. The buzz also suggests that there might be no interval in this action saga as RGV and Nag are of the idea that audience shouldn’t get time to even breathe once they enter the world of the ruthless ‘officer’. The plan is to deliver a crisp and thrilling journey, hence the abandonment of songs and short runtime.
‘Officer’ will release worldwide on 25th May. Nag is quite kicked about the film and he hopes it to become another landmark film in his career like ‘Shiva’.
