Governor ESL Narasimhan wound up his three day Delhi tour abruptly on Wednesday. He flown to national capital on Tuesday to meet PM and union Home minister Rajanth Singh and submit report on fresh political developments in Andhra Pradesh.
Before going to meet Rajnath Singh this morning , the governor was asked not to meet any central ministers and PM also during his stay in New Delhi. Sources said that the centre has taken serious note of Chandrababu Naidu’s comments made against Governor .
The one to one meeting between Governor and Chandrababu before the former left to Delhi assumed political significance in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources said that verbal attack on Narasimhan by ruling TDP leaders and ministers was also taken into serious as the political circles were agog with a talk that Centre was resorting to intimidating the AP CM through black mail politics.
The BJP led centre wanted to stop the TDP from taking political advantage by the sequence of the political developments post Chandrababu and Governor meeting. As part the strategy, Governor was asked to stay away from meeting any central ministers.
