Turning rumours true Union Ministry for Civil Aviation took decision to name Shamshabad Domestic Airport terminal after NTR. From now onwards domestic terminal in Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad will be addressed as NTR Domestic Terminal. Even earlier Rajiv Gandhi international airport domestic terminal at Begumpet used to have NTR name.
However with late CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy opposing to name Shamshabad international airport after NTR, it was named as Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Now Union Aviation Ministry named domestic terminal after late CM NTR, who was the founder of TDP.
