Sometimes it is hard to believe how few scripts land up in the lap of other heroes, though they are written for someone else. Right now a buzz is coming about “Bharat Anu Nenu” and what the original story writer of the film had on his mind.
Director Srihari Nanu who made films like Thakita Thakita is actually providing the story to Koratala Siva for this Mahesh starrer. We hear that actually Srihari wanted to direct this film and approached a star hero as well, but it failed. In his latest interview, he revealed what made him write this story.
Reportedly he’s said to have told that the Formation Day meeting of Janasena party back in 2014 made him write a script. Srihari Nanu assumed how would it look if an honest person like Pawan Kalyan becomes a Chief Minister and wrote a story. He has even narrated the story to Powerstar, but the star hero rejected it.
Later when Sharat Marar told Koratala Siva about this story, the star director approached Srihari Nanu and asked him to give the rights. That way it finally fell into the hands of Mahesh Babu. Otherwise, the film would have come out as ‘Kalyan Anu Nenu’ and that’s the title Srihari thought of. In a way, Mahesh has played the role Janasena president as assumed by this writer-director.
