Pawan Kalyan has been slapped with a legal notice from Palasa MLA Gouthu Syam Sunder Sivaji. This is in connection with Pawan’s remarks against Palasa MLA during his public speech in Tekkali where Pawan allegedly made demeaning comments against Palasa MLA Gouthy Syam Sunder.
The legal notice reads, “By giving false and baseless statement in a public meeting against my client (Gouthu Syam Sunder) and his family members, You (Pawan Kalyan) have committed a mistake. Your baseless statement damaged the image and honour of my client and his family members.”
Advocate Venkatarao, representing Gouthy Syam Sunder, said, “My client’s family has been in politics for 75 years. My client Gouthy Syam Sunder has 36 years of political career, but never faced any allegations in his entire career. His father Sri Sardar Gouthu Latchanna was a Freedom Fighter and their family has got good reputation in the State of Andhra Pradesh.”
The legal notice alleged Pawan Kalyan of making “bald” allegations against Gouthu Latchanna and his family members. “You (Pawan Kalyan) have made severe defamatory words by lowering the image/prestige of my client and his family members in the public meeting on 22.05.2018,” said the notice.
Gouthu Syam Sunder, through the legal notice, demanded an apology from Pawan Kalyan or else threatened to face the consequences.
Looks like, Pawan is going to have tough time in future as he is expected to face several other such legal notices in future.
