Actress Bhagyashree stole the hearts of millions with her blockbuster debut film, “Maine Pyaar Kiya” opposite Salman Khan. Released in 1989, the Hindi film was dubbed in Telugu as ‘Prema Pavuralu’, and it also became a super hit at box office. She acted in Two direct Telugu films in the 90s.
Bhagyashree is now making her comeback to Telugu cinema after two decades. She will play the character of hero’s mother in the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit, “2 States”. Hers is a very significant character in the film.
Makers wanted a senior Bollywood actress, who is a noted face to Telugu audience too, and Bhagyashree fit the bill perfectly. The film also gets extra attention since it is her comeback to Tollywood after two decades.
Adivi Sesh plays the leading man and senior hero Rajasekhar’s daughter, Shivani plays the female lead. “2 States” is a love story, adapted into a feature film from one of the best selling novels written by famed writer, Chetan Bhagat.
