From last 40 years, entertaining Telugu audiences with various commercial flicks in different genres like art, folk, socio-fantasy and devotional has become a regular for K Raghavendra Rao. Popularly called as ‘Darsakendrudu’, his simplicity and hard work always connected well with audiences, while masses loved his glamorization of cute little things with fruits including a woman’s waist area.
Apart from sharing his lifetime experiences on ‘Soundaryalahari’ talk show, KRR is right now busy cooking ‘two’ fantasies. We mean, two fantasy flicks are being written at his command now. After Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his desire to see Charan in Jagadeka Veerudu Athilokasundari sequel, our veteran director has taken the job seriously. Already Paruchuri brothers are said to be developing the script for Raghavendra Rao to direct it any soon.
Another fantasy flick that is in the offing from KRR is Manchu family’s prestigious flick ‘Ravana’. Script work is going on at brisk pace and once it is wrapped, Vishnu Manchu is keen to go for a regular shoot to see his dad Mohan Babu playing the powerful mythological character on silver screen. For now, Darsakendrudu’s cooking is half way, so we need to wait for a while to get a taste of these fantasies.
