Expressing that he’s jealous of “Mahanati” director for delivering such a classic, none other than Rajamouli himself heaped praises on the film and director Nag Ashwini. But during his speech, he left a pause, which is now creating tremors.
During his speech at the success party hosted by Allu Arvind, the Baabubali director gave a pause after saying, ‘why are you felicitating Ashwini Dutt garu, but not’. And later he added, ‘his kids have made the film, so they deserve the praises and felicitations’. But in that pause, already enough steam and story got cooked.
Some say, was Rajamouli about to ask why didn’t anyone felicitated him and producers of Baahubali in the same fashion, though they have tweeted about it and spoke about it at many venues? But he’s not such a person who worries about such things going by his nature we have witnessed from years, so there is no point in thinking that he gave a ‘secret punch’.
Film Industry folks are having an interesting explanation regarding this. “During Baahubali time, both common people and media stood like pillars are carried the film on their shoulders. But for Mahanati, despite being a classic, that is not happening. So film industry is doing their bit to promote it. There is nothing wrong or greed here” a senior film personality said.
