Acclaimed cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who is currently working for Mahesh Babu and AR Murugudoss’ Spyder, is most likely to work for Ram Charan’s next film to be directed by Mani Ratnam. It’s learnt that Mani has started pre-production work of the film and is busy hiring the technicians for this untitled film.
Touted to be a slick action film, Mani said to have recruited Santosh. However, the combo isn’t new. The duo produced great work earlier. Santosh had worked with Mani in five films including Roja, Dalapathi, Dil Se and Ravan. The photography in the films have received rave reviews.
Now, the reunion of Santosh and Mani Ratnam for Ram Charan’s film has already gripped the headlines. Meanwhile, it’s not clear when Mani would actually begin the film’s shoot. It’s expected that this would roll onto the floors only after January 2018 after the release of Ram Charan’s ongoing film with Sukumar.
On personal front, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan have become best buddies in tinsel town. Both of them are catching up often in the free time and even heading for family vacations together.
