Devadas, Multistarrer featuring Nagarjuna and Nani in the lead roles is one of the most awaited films of the season. The film is directed by Sriram Aditya who is yet to score a hit.The director proved his mark with Bhale Manchi Roju and Shamantakamani, but is unable to deliver a commercial success.
As Sriram Aditya doesn’t have experience of directing big stars and handling big budget, producer Ashwini Dutt has hired many writers to make sure that the film doesn’t go wrong.Veteran writers Bhupathi Raja and Satyanand have done corrections to the script to get the formula right and Burra Sai Madhav has taken care of the emotional quotient.
Gen X directors usually prefer to do the writing job on their own. Wonder why Sriram Aditya agreed to have so many veterans on board? Let’s hope that ‘so many cooks didn’t spoil the broth’.Devadas is arriving on September 27 and the team is planning aggressive promotions from this weekend.
