Hero Nithiin entered the Rs 40 crore range with A… Aa. But the debacle of Lie pulled him down the line. Though he had high expectations on the film, it failed to interest audiences and that resulted in a huge disaster.Later, Nithiin had a release in Chal Mohana Ranga. The film did medium-range business, but ended up being an average runner.However, now Nithiin has another big film lined up for release. Titiled Srinivasa Kalyanam, the film is being produced by Dil Raju.
The film has been made with Rs 30 crore and it has already done a business of Rs 25 crore. It still has to do satellite and digital business.The film was sold at Rs 10 crore per MG in Andhra. The film managed Rs 4 crore in Ceded and Dil Raju himself is distributing in Nizam. So, for the sake of numbers, the team threw in Rs 6-7 crore. Adding Rs 3 to this mix is overseas rights. Finally, the film more or less made Rs 25 crore in pre-release business.
Since the film was made with Rs 16 go 17 crore, the producer has made good profit. Like expected, if the film makes money at the box-office, then it will be an encore for the producer.Once over, Nithiin will start shooting for Harika Hassine banner. Venky Kudumula who had earlier made Chalo will be directing the film.
