Roja is in a fresh controversy. She was arrested in Kuwait. Kuwait police have taken Roja and several YSRCP men into custody after they participated in YSRCP- Kuwait’s meeting in a hotel that said to have created inconvenience to locals. Roja, who was on a private trip to Dubai, had gone to Kuwait to attend Kuwait’s YSRCP’s Navaratnalu, a flagship program.
Going into details, Roja and YSRCP partymen have raised slogans with loud voices in Kuwait meeting. This has reached to Kuwait police. Knowing that the meeting didn’t have police permission, Kuwait police swung into acting and have booked everyone. Apparently, Roja and others have raised slogans against TDP and Chandrababu in a very strong manner. This landed everyone who participated in the event into a soup.
Now, YSRCP leaders are making severe efforts to bring out Roja from police custody. Given that Kuwait laws are very strict, the arrests are expected to have a shocking impact on the local people who made it to the meeting. As per the Kuwait laws, non-locals who are booked by police would be immediately sent to their country. This also costs their job in Kuwait. Now, requests are being made to send guests to India and make sure cases won’t be booked on non-locals staying in Kuwait.
