Sack DS, Kavitha Writes Letter To KCR

The TRS leaders of Nizamabad, led by MP Kavitha and state Mahila president of the party Tula Uma, have sent a letter to their party supreme and state Chief Minister KCR demanding to take a serious action against Rajya Sabha member from the district – D Srinivas.

The district TRS leaders have set up a meeting to demand an action against the senior leader for involving in the anti-party activities & offering his services to boost the career of his son D Aravind, who’s in Bharatiya Janata Party.

Highlighting the angst of district leaders, Nizamabad MP Kavitha on Wednesday said that ‘TRS party always respected the senior leader with cabinet rank position & nominating him to Rajya Sabha but we’re continuously getting reports from our sources that he’s motivating the cadre to join in another party. Also, family members of D Srinivas joined other parties without any protocol. So, we request our beloved leader CM KCR Garu take a strong action against him.’

The senior leader of Nizamabad & former Congress leader, D Srinivas joined TRS in 2015 and he’s soon appointed as special advisor to the Telangana government. In addition, he was given a cabinet rank with a responsibility to handle inter-state affairs. Later in 2016, DS was nominated to Rajya Sabha from Telangana along with Captain V Laxmikantha Rao.

Responding to the meeting conducted against his activities, DS initially denied offering a comment. Later, he said he has no idea why the district leaders have come to the wrong conclusion against him and said, ‘In my entire political career, I never worked against my party.’ On the other hand, Srinivas’ son D Aravind addressed a meeting along with his BJP cadre and said – ‘TRS leaders are intentionally bringing my name into their internal party issue and MP Kavitha is only attempting to gain popularity among people of the district with such meetings.’

From last few months, D Srinivas has reportedly been asking for a key party position for his younger son Sanjay but all his efforts are in vain. So, assuming that he’s given a lesser importance in the party, DS is said to have designed a roadmap to join back in Congress.

The consequence of Nizamabad party leaders’ meet could be felt soon as CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to take strong action against any leader who involves in anti-party activities.
