Released in 2002, Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu was a huge blockbuster. Trivikram’s comedy and dialogues and the romantic track between Nag and heroine Sonali Bendre are still a hit with the fans of this movie. Nag himself had produced the movie under his Annapurna Studios banner while Vijaya Bhaskar directed it.
Now, buzz is that Nagarjuna recently registered Manmadhudu 2 title with the Film Chamber under his banner. However, Nag, who’s currently busy with Devadas and will be kickstarting Bangarraju’s sequel, may not act in Manmadhudu 2.
Apparently, either Naga Chaitanya or Akhil will be acting in Manmadhudu’s sequel. Both the Akkineni brothers have a lover boy image, and the sequel to their father’s yesteryear hit is just what they need at this point of their careers. Let’s wait until Nag makes an official announcement about this crazy sequel.
