Shivam Movie Review

Story:

Shiva (Ram) is a happy go lucky guy who believes that love marriages have to win and does anything to help such couples facing problems with their parents. One day he bumps in to Tanu (Raashi Khanna) and falls flat for her. He follows her to her village but unfortunately lands in a tussle with Bhoji Reddy and gang. The trouble does not stop there. He also faces the brunt of Abhi (Abhimanyu Singh) who also wants to win Tanu’s hand. Rest of the story is how Shiva manages to win Tanu.

Performances:

Ram is one actor whose dedication and hardwork can not be doubted. He lived up to the reputation yet again. Raashi Khanna is super glamorous and compliments Ram very well. Abhimanyu Singh gets a tailor made character and he is good. Fish Venkat and Srinivas Reddy managed some laughs.

Technical Performances:

Debut director Srinivas Reddy just pulled of a high intensity mishap. He did all possible mistakes. The biggest of all is the high run time. The film is painfully three hours long and goes on endlessly. When we think the movie will end, out of no where, a stupid flashback and an outdated climax is brought in. That’s not all, the movie story is such outdated that it may be easily the stone age old one for everyone.

Devi Sri Prasad had come up with a fresh album and also they are very well shot. Bach ground score is just okay. Editing is worse easily a good half an hour can be trimmed. Production values are very good.

Plus Points:

Nothing except songs.

Minus Points:

Final Say:

Shiva is one film Ram will repent doing for the rest of his life. Audience will feel for watching it at least till this weekend. IGNORE!!!
